Radio 33 is assembling its first small Listening Desk: Citizens willing to hear independent work with care, language, context, and receipts. This is not a popularity vote, fan club, or promise of influence over programming. It is a proof-of-attention experiment. We are not recruiting judges. We are assembling witnesses. If you know how to listen without asking the algorithm what mattered, report to the Desk.

ELIGIBILITY

Active Citizen profile; age 18 or older; genuine relationship to music, culture, criticism, storytelling, nightlife, community work, or independent creative practice; availability for the full listening window; disclosure of artist relationships; agreement not to leak private submissions or contact artists through Desk information. Artists may apply. Industry credentials and follower counts are not required.

EXPECTED CONTRIBUTION

Listen to up to three assigned records in full; complete one structured Ear Check per record; classify each as SIGNAL, NOISE, DELUSION, or NEEDS ANOTHER LISTEN; explain what informed the classification; permit internal preservation. No promotion, praise, follow, repost, or manufactured enthusiasm is required.

DELIVERABLES

A completed Ear Check, classification, 50–250-word listening note, conflict disclosure, and publication permission for every assigned record. Incomplete assignments may be preserved but do not count as a completed Founding Desk cycle.

SELECTION / RESPONSE

Wolf / the Radio 33 Host selects the cohort based on completeness, listening discipline, explanatory ability, cultural perspective, full-cycle availability, conflicts, and Desk balance. Selection is not first-come, follower-based, or a public endorsement. · Immediate application receipt. Selected and non-selected applicants receive a status within seven business days after closing. Silence never functions as rejection; delays require a visible HQ update.
